ART at the HEART
Heartfelt Therapy is shaped by who I am — calm, gentle, patient and genuinely invested in helping children feel seen and supported. Whether a young person is working through anxiety, family changes, bereavement, school stress, or feelings they simply can’t explain yet, I’m here to walk beside them quietly, safely and at their pace.

Hi, I'm Leigh
As a Drawing & Talking Practitioner, I bring together my creative roots and my heart for young people — offering them a calm, trusted space to process feelings that feel too big for words.
Art has always been where I find comfort and expression. It has been my safe place since childhood — a space where feelings make sense long before the words do.
My journey
I grew up in South Africa, loving animals, sport and art. Creativity has been the thread that’s followed me through every chapter — from studying Graphic Design and working in advertising, to running children’s art classes and later creating ArtyMe and Palette & Vine, spaces where children and adults could relax, paint and express themselves freely.
For the past eight years, I’ve worked as a Teaching Assistant, supporting children with a wide range of needs. This experience taught me something important — children communicate in many different ways, and sometimes the most powerful expression isn’t spoken at all. Often, what sits beneath behaviour is emotion that hasn’t yet found a safe way out.
